Molly Brennan, SUSA 2018/2019
Molly is a Philosophy student from Queen’s University, Belfast. She gained a Study USA scholarship funded by the British Council to study Business at Marymount University, Virginia during 2018/19. Alongside her studies, Molly has joined the ACCU as an Intern. Her role involves helping with a variety of projects including the IAS website and Study Abroad initiatives. Molly enjoys the theatre, traveling and socializing with friends and family.
Niamh Mackin, SUSA 2017/2018
Niamh is a Law student from Queen’s University, Belfast. She gained a scholarship through the Study USA program to study Business at Marymount University, Virginia during 2017/18. During her time in the U.S., Niamh works as an intern at ACCU. Her role involves working closely with ACCU’s Study Abroad and Communications Departments, managing the Irish American Scholars website, and assisting with a range of research efforts. She has also assisted our Legal Functions team.
Orla Gallagher, SUSA 2013/14
Orla is a Final year student at Queen’s University, Belfast majoring in International Politics and Conflict Studies. She gained a scholarship through the Study USA program and studied during 2013/14 at Marymount University, Virginia. She worked with the ACCU in their Research, Communications and Study Abroad departments. Orla enjoys traveling, good music and spending time with friends.

Becca Hankla, IAS 2014
Becca Hankla is a senior at Queens University of Charlotte, North Carolina. She majors in Psychology and minors in ‘War and Conflict in History’ and ‘Music’. She will be attending Queen’s University, Belfast in the fall of 2014. Becca leads a worship group with her chapel program and loves to read, write, sing and spend time with friends and family. She has also has a series of story collections published byMercer University.
Alex Schwartz, IAS 2014
Alex is a junior of Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, PA. He Majors is Engineering Science. Alex will participate in the IAS program at St. Mary’s University College in the Fall of 2014. Alex enjoys school, inventing, travelling and spending time with friends and family. He enjoys trying new things, rides a motorcycle and is a nondenominational minister. Alex will be writing about settling into life in Northern Ireland.
Adam Hussein, SUSA 2013/14
Adam, 21, is a final year Business student at the University of Ulster. A recent alumni of the Study USA Programme, where he studied International Business Management at La Salle University in Philadelphia. Adam is passionate about travel and new experiences. He is a huge music enthusiast and enjoys listening to and designing new music. He is a avid traveler, swimmer and poker player.
